About

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, a few months before mankind landed on the moon, and ever since my head has been elsewhere.

At the University of Cincinnati, just down the street, I earned (barely) an English degree while playing in various ill-fated rock bands. Along the way, I learned Quark Xpress and Photoshop, which I parlayed into a career in computer graphics. Around 1995 or so, the internet began to flourish and I taught myself HTML to peddle my services as a web designer. Fifteen years later, I still do it, while my dream of a rattlesnake ranch still festers. One day…

I also pursue writing, largely fiction in novel and short novel forms. I make my home in Portland, OR, with my wife Heather.
